Education is one of our main aims, and the SVAS are proud to support all educational activities at Shuttleworth. Whether it’s hosting Girl Guide sleepovers, offering winter talks on working exhibits, providing vintage bus rides for school children or hosting learning events, SVAS education volunteers make it all possible.
Activities can take place throughout the site, making the most of the fascinating colletion, gardens and house, but the Discovery Workshop is the permanent learning centre within the Shuttleworth Collection.
SVAS Discovery Team
The Discovery team also has a young persons section, dedicated to providing opportunities for volunteering where confidence, life-skills and knowledge can grow. Volunteers can support events, such as airshows, or weekend school/education visits.
